Hi! I'm Nick, and I'm the founder of BootstrapMaths.
I began tutoring in 2021 during university, though teaching isn't my full-time career. I work as an Actuary (a maths nerd in insurance if you're wondering!) for PwC but after slowing down my own teaching, I learnt that I couldn't quite leave the fun of tutoring behind.
I now provide 1:1 tuition for a very small number of students on Sunday afternoon/evenings, typically for very long-term students or younger children of families I have supported in the past.
I like to summarise my teaching style as "learning the language of mathemathics". Exams, specification lists, and learning criteria are extremely important, but for students who want to continue studying maths, learning to think fluently in maths is my real goal.

Pricing
Nick's lessons are £50 per 55 minute session.
Lessons are free to cancel with 48hrs notice, with no minimum learning term.
After the session, parents recieve a compehensive written report covering everything from what went well, to where there is room for improvement, and any plans made for next time.
